- So James, I was in Cologna and visited a custom motorcycle shop. And what I noticed immediately, it seems like every bike has its own personality reflective of the owner. - Exactly, and that encapsulates why many people, myself included, get into riding motorcycles in the first place. It really is an extension of themselves. - What's it like riding on the front of a bike? 'Cause I was on the back of one. It scared me, I can't lie. But once, you know, five, 10 minutes in, oh, it was liberating. - Welcome to the tribe. I hope you'll wanna stay. Riding around a place like that with a million miles of head room, even though you've got a helmet on, it's exactly why people get into riding, especially in a place like Canada where you've got such a diverse geography across the place. - From your point of view, if someone wants to modify their motorcycle, how does that work on your end? - Yeah, so great question and it comes up a lot as someone who has a couple of modifications on his own bike. Generally speaking, the important side is to make sure you let your insurer know. You make sure it's included in the value of the bike so that we can pay you for those accessories, whether you've bought them from the manufacturer or whether you've added them yourself. And if you're putting a new exhaust on the bike a new windshield, some saddlebags, a comfortable seat to go touring on with your friends and family, and if it conforms to provincial regulations, we will cover that 'cause we know that's part of your ability to ride and reflect your own self.
